I've had very good results with the Meguiars Mirror Glaze products. Usually I start off with a Clay Bar, #2 Fine Cut Cleaner, then #5 Swirl Remover, then top it off with #26 Paste Yellow Carnuba Wax. Leaves the finish VERY smooth. A very durable wax, usually lasts about 3 mos before I have to redo it again. I just did mine today, will be taking pics of the GA tomorrow =)

Thats because Zaino isnt a Wax, it is a Polish.... If you apply Zaino, as many layers as desired, then top off with Meguiers Carnauba, you simply be amazed.....
No bash intended, just throwing in a helpful hint.... :)

Hey, thanks for letting me know! I would never even think of trying anything other than mequires' so I didn't realize it was a polish.

... I felt the same way up until last year when I tried Zaino for the first time and let me tell you, it is simply amazing ... I am not saying it will shine any better but I can assure you it will be the easiest wax/polish you will ever apply :)

Do you guys apply this by hand? I use 3m polishes w/ my buffer & then Meguires w/ my waxer. So the ease of useing it doesn't matter to me I guess. I get absolutely perfect results w/ the 3M/ Mequires combo. But I can see where Zaino would be attractive if it's easier to apply by hand than most other polishes, that is... if you don't have access to powered buffers & waxers.

Good point ... good point indeed!! You are correct, Zaino CAN be applied using a buffer but it is suggested you do it by hand since you only need such a small amount.

Actually I should have said "Polish/Sealer"... That would be the correct statement.... :D
I recommend applying only by hand as you will waste more Zaino than you will actually use.... Here is the order I do it when I am working from the base up...
Wash car with Dawn Liquid
Rinse car
Bug and Tar Removal
Rinse car
Clay Car
Wash with Dawn Liquid again
Rinse Again
Meguiers Clear Coat Body Scrub
KIT Scratch Out in yellow bottle for scratch and haze removal (Sometimes this can be used with buffer when needed)
Apply Z-1 or ZFX (with ZFX you skip Z-1 application)
Let Z-1 Haze
Apply Z-2 directly over hazed Z-1 (let cure)
Remove Z-2 (reapply addtional layers if curing allows)
Apply Z-5 if desired (I usually use Z-5 in place of Z-2 or vice versa)
Final step Z-6
Apply Carnauba if desire, but don not re-apply Zaino over the wax. To re-apply Zaino, repeat the dawn wash process to strip the Wax and Zaino... Therefore, be sure you have ALL layers you want of Zaino before using the Wax overlay.
Hope this helps...!!!

One more note to add:
You may omit Body Scrub and Scratch Removal depending on the condition of your cars surface... But I do not recommend skipping the clay bar process when doing a base up....

Hmmm,... now you got me curious. I just may have to get some to play with! It sounds as if it may be a polish/ wax hybrid. W/ different levels of abrasives. (i.e. z1, z2, z5 & z6) w/ the Indy cars they're always looking for ways to make them slicker, it wouldn't hurt to try it. getting them as slick as possible helps the car slip through the air better, therefore createing less drag. Yes, this sounds extreme but this comes from guys who are pricks about the weight of the paint we put on them.
