I'm so happy!!!
I was talking to a police officer at my school the other day about neon/LED lights and what is legal and what is not. (The officer was from eastern PA near Allentown.)
So it turns out, around here, you can drive with as many LED'S, Neons, ect. turned on as you want as long as it is inside your vehicle and it is on a switch. I asked him if the entire interior of the car could be glowing and he said that would be fine.
Driving with strobes, windshield washer lights, undercar/wheelwell neon/led kits, or changing the color of your turnsignal lights is not legal.
I couldn't believe that officers would not care about the interior lights, so i tried it and drove past two cops in one night, they didn't stop, slow down, nothing.
I am so happy...YAY!!
Oh, in case no one knows this is what i have (Neon/LED wise) in my Grand Am...
Red underbody kit (Streetglow Gold Series)
Red 15 inch Streetglow neon behind grill
Red Streetglow Headlight LED's in headlights (by turnsignal indicator)
Red Streetglow Headlight strobe lights (by end closest to grill)
Hella Optilux Angel Eyes (Fog Lights)
Red Streetglow 20 inch neon in trunk
Red Streetglow 20 inch neon on rear deck
Red Streetglow 15 inch neon above passenger seat
Red Streetglow 15 inch neon above driver seat
Red Streetglow Led's in A/C Vents
Red Pilot (from autozone) 3 inch neon under passenger dash
Red Pilot (from autozone) 3 inch neon under driver dash
Red Pilot (from autozone) 3 inch neon on back of center consol
(Hense the name Glowin97 LOL)
FUTURE:
Blue Streetglow Headlight LED's in headlights (in middle portion)
(not sure where else, i'm running out of places)
If anyone would like to post their neons/LED's and locations please do so, I'm sure others could use some ideas as well as myself.
