New eh!

Hey every one my name is Damien and my Dad is getting a grand am this week. I dont have any pics of it. But it is a 1996 grand am GT it has a v6 3.1. There are somthings I need to ask. How much HP does it have and is there any thing we need to look for like what problems we mite need to look for. I will get pics and a vid when next week end and when my friend is over. (he has a really good camara)

Edit: I own a 1983 mazda RX-7 but it is being worked on.

Look at the lower intake manifold gasket, thats about the biigest thing, also let us know how many miles r on it as well... PS I cant believe u have an 83 RX-7 I thought the 12A's died with the 21st century, lol. Anyway when u get some pics of the GA lets see some of the wankel! Im sure there r a couple people here who havent ever seen the early 80s style. Anyway tell ur dad good choice on the GA.

Thanks I love my car. When my dad gets the GA I will be learning to drive in it :). 12As will never die. The GA have 202,000km on it.

the GA has the v6 3.1 how much HP does it have?

Well today my dad got the grand am. It is cool I got to drive it. It need some fixing. Like the brake needs ajusting you need to push it far down to stop. The door is hard to close needs lube. The seat needs more padding. But its really good it have a better muffler and some other mods I think it have lowering springs because it is lower then onther grand ams because when we was at the video store there was 2 newer ones and ares was lower. The wheels on it a low profile tires. It is easy to get in the back. Tomarrow I will get pics and maybe a video of the muffler.
