I know on my Gen II 2.8V6 I had a "distributor plug" w/ an o-ring that would tend to leak oil on those engines. Since the blocks havent changed much since then, i'm assuming my 3400 has the same thing. (For those of you who are unfamiliar, it is basically a plug w/ a gear that isnt attached to anything because Gen I 60-degree V6 engines used distributors).
My question is: does the LA1 have this, and has anyone ever made an attempt to disable/disconnect it from the camshaft to help reduce parasitic drag?
