Hello. I just got my Grand Am April 10th, as a replacement to my old 1992 Chevrolet Beretta 2.2 Auto. I used to be obsessed with that car, then I grew tired of it and my obsession turned to boredom and then hatred. We found this Grand Am through pure luck, and after some heavy persuasion of my grandparents, I brought it home for 4500 bucks. We got the Beretta sold for 1700, so in reality I paid 2800 for the GAGT.
Anyway, here's some more info on my Grand Am, which I've nickname the Grandammit:
It's a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT1, with every factory option (leather, power driver's seat, moonroof, keyless entry, CD and cassette, etc.). It also has a locking gas cap. :lol:
It just turned over 105k (had 103,7xx on April 10th :(), but it looks/drives like new. The lady that had it knew a lot about vehicles, I could tell by the way she described what repairs and upgrades she'd done to it. She's taken meticulous care of it and you can tell.
I'm in love with it already. The only plans are to save up for the LIMG when it does fail (not if, when), and some other random things I'll happen to think of. I was going to do my stereo install using the subs from the Beretta, but now I've decided to leave the GAGTs system stock and sell the subs to get a new digital camera.

I look forward to being a member of this site. I love discussions about the type of car I have. I got kicked off the Beretta forum, so I've been a little hard up for car fellowship lately.:roll2:
