bad problem. Car started missfiring last night. Drove to work this morning and it would not always charge at 15 volts. sometimes down to 12. Car would sputter reallly bad. Also I turned my heater on this morning and no heat. The car heated up. Not too hot since it was cool out.it was between 200 and 260. And when i turned on the heater vent I got a puff of weird smelling smoke out of the vents. Also Just to help out The antifreese is full. Haven't had a chance to check the oil yet with as much as i work. SVS light came on and would flash intermittently. Also not that the car would run ok in spirts. Not sure what to make of it. I'm gunna get the codes pulled at my lunch break. Thanks for the help. And if any of u tell me it's the LIM i'm gunna go and find u and make your life miserable

im sure you meant ses, svs does not flash... flashing ses = severe misfires or imminent powertrain damage. i.e. stop driving!!!!!

get the codes read.. for starters.

now low coolant light is on. No fluid in resivour(Sp). Engin compartment is wet on the front pass. side. I'm thinking that now i have a leak in one of my hoses. Luck me. Also white smoke comming out of the tail pipe like when you start the engine on a cold day. No antifezze in the oil (thank god) and never overheated bad. I hope to god it's just a hole in one of the lines.

Might be a cracked hose nipple on the plastic tank of the heater core, happens much more frequently than a hose failure.

but white smoke in the exhaust sure seems like a bad head gasket, and that's where mine blew: Coolant just agushing and aspraying onto the firewall.

Good luck,
