Your first mistake was calling the dealer. You only call them if your car is under warranty.
Advance Auto / Parts America price: $21 per lifter, or $336 for all 16.
EDIT: My bad, that's Autozone's price. Advance/PartsAmerica's website isn't working at the moment.

kaycee, I went to the dealer to get a new pontiac "arrow-head" for the front of my car... $57.99 CAD.
The prices are, as you said, nucking futs!!

GM Parts Direct wanted $22 US for that same arrowhead. I'm going to just make my own if they are that much.

And yea, the dealer will rape you every chance they get - lifters arent cheap anyways, but it should cost 1K for them XD

like anything you have to shop around. Some things you cant get at a parts store, and sometimes you will pay less at a dealer then at a parts store.
Also you have to understand that most of the time you are getting off brand parts made in china and the like.

Don't those go onto your existing Arrowhead emblem? I though they were a complement to, not a replacement to the badge.

OT:
I think they do offer complete replacements, but you are correct, most members buy the ones that go over the stock badge.

Exactly, thats why i laugh when everyone recomends buying replacements from them in every thread about it, they arent replacements, just vinyl that goes over your existing arrowhead.
