sorry to be posting so many idiot questions today. i ran a search and couldnt find out how to get past my firewall. i am organizing all my wires and getting all that nice and good looking, and i cant figure out how to run the wires from my battery into the interior so i can run it under the carpet/plastic into the trunk..right now its going out of my hood and in through my door and thats bad. is there a walkthrough?

I just drilled a small hole there the firewall about 2 inches under the steering colom( yeah i spelled that wrong) and then drilled a hole large enough to get the wires through. now the only problum is I drive a 94 GA annd you drive a 05 GA so they might be differnt. your going to want to check both sides of the firewall.

just follow the stock holes that are there and cut out the little grommet that they have. you can replace a rubber grommet if you mess up, not a firewall

i do that as well. there is a spot i went through, on teh driver side, very top.there are existing wires going through it and it comes right out underneath the driverside dash, you can run it along the side from there, or whereever you want. just use like a coat hanger, some tape and the wire

the hole you used, is it at the top if your looking from under the hood, or from above the pedals?

it is in the corner area under the hood.it will go down a bit into the inside of the interior, under the dash

Drivers side behind the engine fuse box. You can see wires going through.

Push a piece of coat hanger with a fish wire taped to the end through from the inside.

That's a highly technical electrical term for a device used to pull wires through pipes and walls.

You tape a fish wire or string to the end of the coat hanger. Poke it through the grommet. Grab the fish wire with a needle nosed pliers and attach it to the wires that you want to be through the hole.

Put a couple of spare wires through at the same time for future wiring needs.

but Jim that takes too much time, just put the wire you are hooking up, tape it to the coat hanger :-P
