Anyone know of a good place online (trust, quality, price) that I can buy a cd player from?

Crutchfield ... the only place you will ever get the full factory warranty for electronics bought on the web.

isn't thezeb an authorized dealer for most of their brands? Doesnt that what "Internet Authorized Retailer" means on top of the pages for each brand? That shoudl mean the manufacturers warrenty for those brands should be the same as if you got them at a local shop?

Ok hate to disagree, but I would NEVER buy from crutchfield.
www.sounddomain.com and www.thezeb.com are both factory authorized, and in some cases the ONLY website to hold that status, so the whole crutchfield is the only place to buy and get full warranty is totally false. Also theres www.ikesound.com they offer warranty on most products and you'll find they have the best prices. They sell on ebay so much they developed a store...scala1 is the name I believe the guy is in the top 3 ebay sellers ever I think, so you know there reputable.

good luck on whatever you choose.

Thank you :)
Ikesound.com does have some great deals.
I know it isnt the best name in car audio but I heard good things about Legacy head units. Legacy LCD19DX didnt look bad at all for the price. Just dont know if they have seperate bass and treble controls.

Now, after I pick out the head unit... what do I need to buy to connect it? I know I need a "kit". but I also heard I need an fm adapter. how much do the kit and adapter go for?

I hadn't had any issue with Crutchfield. They always sent me the vehicle-specific instructions and extra parts needed to install the equipment for free. Shipping always went well and fast for me. May not always be the lowest priced, but I found that site to be rather helpful.

I have always done buisness with www.onlinecarstereo.com. They have pretty good prices and have free shipping also. Never had a problem there either.

LOL no kidding eh? Like The Zeb (mentioned earlier in the thread), I don't even think they are around anymore LOL. I was reading it and at first I was going to reply "I think they are out of business" then I read the date, and read down further
