... antenna lead repair kit? ... more specifically, the female connector that plugs into the male connector on the antenna itself? ... basically, I needed to repair the power antenna on the wife's car and during the reinstall, the wire pulled off of the connector so now, the radio station doesn't tune in as well as it did ... just wondering if there is an actual kit for repair before I 'rig up' something of my own

I would strip it back and solder the center back on.
If I needed a kit, Radio Shack would be where I would look.

... I might have to do that Jim but it appears to be missing something even though nothing fell out ... very strange arrangement compared to what I am used to ... that is Honda for you, I guess

Liek he said, you could just solder a new end on from a universal antenna adaptor. Hondas( well at least up till 06/07) have universal ends. If your familliar with Gm..they have a smaller end on the antenna behind the deck and you need to convert that to the universal end when installing an aftermarket deck. YOu could solder that universal end to you antenna that broke. Just remembe to insulate the center from the braided ground. Its a little bit of a pain, but if done right it'll work.

... the male connector is part of the antenna on this Honda and the wire from the radio has the female connector ... I think that I might just get another connector that will fit the antenna male piece and then solder a coupling on the two pieces and splice it together ... just thought maybe there was something already designed for this problem ... thanks guys!! :)
