Not yet, but as soon as I build up my funding again (the suspension drained me almost dry) I'm planning on making a day of it and doing a lot of test'n'tune......

Yeah, i had it done and had dhp dyno tune it and it is kinda depressing actually. I wasn't expecting much because i don't haven't done much besides a k & n, p and p throttle body and, thrush mufflers. But i was still expecting more that the 125 hp i was showing at the wheels.

Generally, you lose about 18% horsepower in the transfer to the wheels. When companies talk about hp, the are talking at the engine.

I thought the factories measured it at the wheels these days....or maybe they used to measure it at the wheels with the good old rwd carburator jobs. :???: I wouldn't think you would lose that much power in a fwd though.

i know that the srt-4 is rated at the wheels from dodge, and people are actually getting dyno pulls that are over 215WHP and 245 ft/lbs

Every maunfacturer measures horsepower at the crank, with all accessories attached - its called SAE Net Horsepower. Back in the sixties, the system used was SAE Gross - it was a measurement at the crank without the drag from accessories such as power steering, alternator, A/C, etc.

The SRT/4 is also dynoed from the factory using the SAE Net measurement. All the tests showing whp measurements simply prove that the engine is actually stronger than that by about 20-30 hp at the crank. That's no different than the 276bhp Skyline in Japan that actually makes about 307bhp at the crank, or the old Grand National that supposedly made 245bhp, and in reality produced more than 280bhp at the crank, and the GNX made well over 325bhp.

I gotta find me on of those Grand Nationals :D My friend's neighbor has one, but they go for alot of money.
