Well other than raingaurds, this is the first real mod, meaning it required a saw and a welder.

The tiny 2.5" factory exhaust tip on a V8 just bothered us, so when we were out shopped a week ago we picked up a simple chrome 3" exhaust tip for her truck.

Before.

10 minutes later.

Looks like it's cocked up, but that is because the factory exhaust had a bend in it and if I didn't set it up that high it would have looked like it was falling off from behind.

Get better photos later.

I'd love to but no one makes them for the Xpoloder, it was actually the first thing I looked for when we got it.

Doing research there is a odd quirk that when using LED tail lights it doesn't provide a closed curcuit for a solinode in the transmission and prevets it from locking up or something of that nature.

So in other words, LED could lead to transmission problems on Ford trucks. Crazy shit eh? lol

Lucky you got the third row and now a pet carrier. lmao!

They say it helps the 4.6 breath how it should and can produce about 25 extra hp! Which it really needs because it feels like it wants to go, but can't.

So for a little better temp. eye appeal we went with just a quick fix.

I tried, lol.

I looked at the first photo and then sized it up when I took the second. I was too lazy to go inside to get my tripod. :D

Thanks. No clamps or screws here. Measured it up, cut the old pipe off with my buddy Mr. Reciprocating Saw, and sparked up the welder and welded it all the way around. Only way to do things right. :)
