hey everyone,
I want to screw my sub down in my trunk, but the only problum is Im not sure where I can do it because when I look under my car the gas tank takes up the whole rear and I dont want to put a screw in the floor and hit the tank. Anybody know how close the tank is to the floor of the trunk in a 94 GA GT coupe? mabie I have a little cusion to put a small screw threw the box into the floor.

You should be able to put small screws into the spare tire cover, that is what I did when with my Beretta's. But really you shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't use really long screws. My buddy used strips of wood and screwed them down in his cavalier, he used four short strips around the box, so it would not slide around, but if he needed to take the box out he could take of the front strip (the one that faces the rear of the car) and slide the box out. So if you did something like this you could use screws that go maybe a 1/4" to 1/2" into the car plus the depth of the wood.
