I am looking at installing a Xenarc 7" VGA/RCA monitor into the GA. Now my question is, i want to be able to use the touch screen interface with a PC. So would you be able to plug the VGA cable into the laptop and control it from the xenarc touch screen? Are there only certain laptops that would be compatible?

I was going to get a mobile PC, but i dont want to spend the money on something that would be stuck in the car. So i am hoping this will work.

This is the monitor i would like to use.

Looking at it, you would need the VGA to get the display image, and a USB port for the input (The touch part).

So the xenarc screen should come with the drivers necessary, correct?

Should either come on a CD with the screen, or be on the website of the manufactuer for download.

Sometimes, they're plug and play, and require nothing to be installed.
