AD class? I don't think so... Those pictures do look right, but you can't be sure from the general look of things. I'm pretty sure that 99+ GAs with the 3400 would have used a CS130-D...

So your link on that alternatorparts.com page should be:
http://www.alternatorparts.com/cs130_&_cs130d_alt.htm
instead. I didn't look at the other page, but the same thing there.

haha no that just confirms the confusion.

from what ive read, it is the same alternator, but the plug is in a slightly different location. people claim they have been able to use the 99-02 ones without any issues. i see this discussion in regards to the strut tower brace since it only fits from 99-02 and wont fit newer years because of the plug on the alternator. people were switching to the 99-02 style alternator to fit the STBs. i havnt done this so this is my observation, but good luck.

I do not know if anyone in your area does it. We have a guy here in town, that does custom work, and can build a stouter alternator, I would guess the unit would have to be able to take an upgrade, do not know if ours are or not, just food for thought.

^^^ Yeah, I was about to say that they should be able to get their Alternators rewound, but I don't think it'll go up to 200+amps.
