okay as many of you know...the sensor ring has to be transfered from the OEM balancer to the aftermarket...well did that...measured...tried my best w/ a master mechanic to do this...well the first day...the car drove just fine...no check engine light... the next 3-4 weeks... misfire on HIGH RPMS...still no check engine light... now misfire at low rpms...and still no check engine light...
if it was the sensor ring issue...wouldnt the check engine light come on?... (this is on my 99 ga btw)

Nope. When I had my misfire from the ring, there was just a hesitation when stepping on the gas. No check engine light or anything. Just get a CASE relearn from a dealer or whoever and that should fix your problem. That is if that is your problem. Easier than pulling the pulley off again and adjusting the ring again.

exactly what does a CASE relearn do?... i did stop by the dealership and they said all they could do is take the pulley off...and put it on a machine/computer and that could tell them if the ring is sitting in the right spot...

so if the pully was moving back and forth that would make the 24x sensor act this way??
oh yea as for the ses light if you even remove the harness to the 24x sensor the ses light does'nt come...which mines did'nt but i did have a code.
