Hi guys, am looking for a wiring diagram for a basic HID 9007 setup. I have the ballasts and bulbs and such but am a little unsure of all the connections. Would rather have a diagram to go off than screw something up. Does anybody have a scan or pdf document or even a picture of the layout in which the stock harness gets connected to the lights and ballasts and etc. Thanks alot, appreciate it everyone.

Not knowing what kit you have makes it difficult. All I had todo for mine was to ground the ballasts, and connect the positive wire to the battery, then plug the 9007 end on the HID kit to one of the 9007's harnesses on the car. Simple, the hardest part was mounting the ballasts.

yea some info on the brand might help, heck, even seeing if the company you got them from or that makes them might even have a wiring diagram on how to hook them up. The ease can range from like above post, simply plug and play to actualy electrical work such as splicing and such

Yea mine were kinda plug and play, I had to mess with the wire order on the plug but other than that, it was plug and play.

Ok, after taking a bit of time I figured out the wiring, now I am wondering where to mount the ballasts. My ballasts have a black metal holder around them which has screw/bolt holes in the top and on the bottom so the thing can be mounted horizontally or vertically. DOnt think there is a problem in doing that. Anyways where did you guys mount yours?

D/S I mounted to the washer bottle, there is a screw up top that you can mount it to. on the P/S i took out the screw that mounts the horns. to reassure that they werent going anywhere, i used some clip ties to support them. havent had a problem since.

My driver's side was behind the battery, and the pass side right next to the coolant overflow tank.
I found that they got way too nasty if in the little area between the bumper and under-hood area

Ok guys, I got my HIDs hooked up, beautiful by the way. The white light looks great and awesome lighting, waht a difference. The only problem is that I got the xenon low and halogen high bulb so there is a small halogen bulb beside the xenon bulb. I have only the xenon hooked up to the low beams right now. On my 9007 bulb there is two wires, for the HID hooked up to the ballast and then there are 2 yellow wires coming out of the bulb, im guessing for the high beam. Does anybody know, do I hook the 1 wire to the middle prong of the original harness connector and then the other yellow wire to the pink outside high beam wire of the connector? ANybody else have the halogen bulb for high beam in their HID kit??

My kit were Bi-Xenon...so the Lows and Highs were both HID's.
I heard the the ones with the Halogen Highs can be tricky to hook up so I didn't get them.
Where you located exactly and what company did you get them from?

Im from up by Thunder Bay and I got my kit from a guy I know. I dont know what brand it is, think it might be a universal ebay kit or something, I only paid 100$ but they werent used. Yah the bulbs are the ones with the halogen bulb on the side and here is what it looks like....
Now i have low beams right now so thats hooked up right, the only thing i can guess is that one of the yellow wires from the bulb goes to the "High beam" prong on the 9007 OEM connector, and the other yellow one goes to the "??" prong. What do you guys think, i never tested it yet.

oznium.com plug and play FTW
i just use self tapping screws and mounted them on the sides of the fender part? i guess it would be called its under the hood near the washer bottle and the other side has nothing mounted there just a big empty space
