I have been lurking for a while. I am from Upstate NY, in a small town that is north of Albany and south of Saratoga. I have owned my 1998 GA SE since 2003. It is still pretty much original.

But I thought I might as well say hi since I have been lurking for so long!

I wanted to. Lack of funds and I have to work. My company photographs all of the events at the Empire State Plaza. I will be photographing Kid's Day on Sunday.

Working at my store on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, unfortunately. I get every Sunday off (usually) and every 3rd Saturday off (usually). This is like the 2nd year that I have wanted to go and couldn't. Hopefully next year!!

Where are you going to be again? Sorry, it is toward the end of the day and that is when all of the brain farts occur. I know it is near Albany, I remember something about Thatcher Park or something....I hate it when the brain doesn't work.

My GA really isn't too much to look at. She is starting to rust, think I just found a power steering leak(ugh!!), she floods in the spring, and I own a newfoundland mix, so she is full of black hair. If my dog isn't invited I don't go. He is my buddy and goes everywhere with me!

... that is where we will be but after each of the days events, we are back at the Hotel, usually outside in the parking lot "shooting the $hit" :)

LOL, yeah, I will try my best. I will see if my bf can come too. He is the one that fixes my car (he just fixed my exhaust system a couple of weeks ago when the muffler strap broke and the little piece that holds the exhaust to the car broke. The only thing preventing the whole thing from falling off was the engine - or that is what he said).

I will have to see how I feel. My boyfriend and I are shooting Blues Night at the Plaza that Wed. and Kid's Day on Sunday. If it isn't too hot out, I will be fine, if it is too hot out, I will be exhausted.

I see we have quite an effort going to recruit more people for the Albany meet. :lol:

I agree though... drop by and hang out for a bit. Don't worry about the car... not like all of them there will be in "perfect" condition.

All right, all right. I will do my best to get there. My GA will be the red one with the rust in the back near the trunk...on both sides (yup she was in an accident before I got her - or that is my theory, she has matching dents on both sides where the rust is forming - what can I say...she was a rental in NJ). I will probably have a Newfoundland mix with his head stuck out the back window.
