Face Overlay Problems

I recently had a gauge cluster overlay installed - everything lights up and the speedo is correct.........



However :( , the needle of the speedo is delayed - if I am goin 40 mph, it will eventually get there - it jumps at a time and doesn't constantly move

The same thing happens when I brake....


Does anybody have any idea what went wrong????

I put a white overlay over my gauge cluster and it did the same thing at times with the speedo. What I had to do is pull the cluster out and gently pull the needle out a little because I had it pushed down a little to tight and it was rubbing, not allowing to move freely. I also took some silicone(tire shine stuff) and rubbed in on the area were it wanted to stick. It's been over a year now and I haven't have any problems with it.

You had a shop put it in? You should have saved your money, there so easy to put in.

My car had a major electrical problem so since the dash was apart - I asked them to put it in
