... but the Wife needed 'something' in her Honda as even though the factory deck was still sounded pretty decent, I wanted something a little 'better' for her that would play a CD ... anyway, my daughter works at Canadian Tire (very similar to Pep Boys or Western Tire, for all you guys in the States  :D) and she was able to get a GREAT DEAL on a recently discontinued model ... I wasn't looking for anything 'high end' but I was quite happy this model would play a CD and as a bonus, has an auxiliary input so she can attach her Palm Pilot which has all her MP3s and Audio Books ... installation was a breeze as I bought the wiring adaptor and took a little time soldering all the wires along with some heat shrink and it looked great ... result? ... sounded great through the factory speakers and the Wife is really happy (which of course, if what I was most concerned about :D)

a nice palm pilot, i have gone through a couple palms but ive recently started buying smart phones instead, i went through the treo and now im on the blackjack. the treo was very nice and it did more, but the blackjack is my favorite, it does all the stuff i do regularly and it does it in style(costs much less too). the only thing i miss is making word documents...i told myself i would take notes and write essays on the go...solitaire never let me.

... the TX is awesome, it works very well, right down to playing full length movies if she wants ... there isn't anything she needs that I have seen, that it won't do :)

You have a daughter? LOL. Sorry, I just never knew that I guess...

That Panny HU looks like it suits your wife's needs perfectly and is decent quality to boot ;) I don't know about these days but I know older Panasonic car audio source gear was always pretty bulletproof, even down to their low-end models. So if it's anything like those days, it'll probably be very reliable too :)
