Ok i know somewhat about car audio. I am wondering if there is a way to connect the power wire to the amp without having to have any bare wire showing, like striping the rubber off and just making a fork in the wire and screw it to the amp because not all of the wire fits and i have always just cut some off. I am wondering if they make those crimper things to connect the big power wire to the amp.
its 4 guage power wire.
Thanks

Yeah sure you can do that. Easiest way would be a distribution block instead (to split up the 4 ga into multiple 8 ga runs which your amp would undoubtedly accomodate).
I'm guessing your amp has terminal-type set screw terminals?
You can do what you said instead, and just cut some of the wire off the end to make it fit better, once you have it stripped. You can get ring terminals to crimp on, no prob, but if your amp can't fit 4ga to begin with, it probably won't fit a 4ga sized ring terminal anyway.
You can also find "reducers" but they are solid metal and they are more for amps with the block-type power connections where you insert the wire and turn an allen screw to clamp the wire. A cheap distribution block would run you the same anyway, and be a much more practical solution.

i agree with MantaGreen, i would go with the dist. block which is what i did do for my 0 ga to 4 ga. Also like he said you can get ring terminals, which i've done on previous setups and then again as he said it pry won't fit, what i did was take some angle cutters or snips and cut out the end of the ring and cut a piece out about 1/4'' to 3/8'' long so that the ring "O" looked like a horseshoe "U" and used pliers to squeeze the 2 prongs together to fit into amp terminal.
