I was just wondering, I have wanted to do this for some time now but wasnt sure if it would be all possible, would I be able to change all of my dash lights and guage lights and interior lights from the stock red color, to green? I think it would look great with green gauges, hvac controls, door lock buttons and all other interior lights to be green. Something about white exterior, black interior, and green interior lights just does it for me. What do you guys think?

I would imagine you could get green bulbs for the replacments behind the dash ? . ? Im not sure though. I know my Eclipse has white face gauges and the orange display... stock... I tired to change the bulbs to another color and the numbers on the back where the bulbs go are actually orange dont know if thats how they all are. Never tried to change them in a ga

sounds like a good ideal

Oh yah no prob, thanks for the reply anyways. I had my dash apart this week installing LEDs in the vents and had my gauges out too but I never thought to pull out a bulb or check what kind of lights it used.

Ill have to get a picture later tonight when its dark, i have them far enough back in the vent that it just makes the inside of the vent glow red, I think it is one of the best looking lighting mods Ive ever done, real happy with the turn out, looks great.

YEah, I took out my whole gauge cluster, my deck, hvac controls, glove box, had the whole dash apart so that i could fit the leds back far enough so they wouldnt be visible, the glow isnt as bright as if the leds were visible but they also arent distracting. i have them wired to the interior lights , like the dash lights so they work with the dimmer too, pretty neat.

I have a 99 SE and it has normal clear bulbs for the illumination with a red filter in the gauge.
All the warning lights are LED

one the lights on my gauge cluster blew out this weekend right above the rpms..... how do you gains access to the circuit board like that? i know how to R&R the cluster, but what do i need to strip off the cluster to get to the circuit board to replace that tiny bulb? i need not peel off the oem overlay do i????
if anyone can help me out on this i would really appreciate it..
thanks

You have to remove the trim around the gauges, than remove the whole gauge cluster. Unplug and remove the cluster. Disassemble the cluster itself into about 5 pieces. Than you can fix the bulb.
