I LOVE YOU GUYS! LOL
no, seriously, this forum is awesome. unlike gmpower or any other of those damn forums, this place is ALL grand am owners and that is just awesome! IM like an addict, now that i have the internet back, im on here all the time seeing whats going on with the grand am people!:D
Everyone is friendly and helpful unlike those "other" foums where there is constant bitching and whining and bickering.
Really wish i could make it to the albany meet to meet some of you but im broke and did not register in time.. :O I guess theres always next year...

Adam, thank you for the kind words. Some may view it as sucking up, but honestly, after hearing the negative all the time it's nice to hear something positive. :)
As for Albany, if you still want to go I can't imagine we'd prevent you from coming. Try contacting Kelly directly at 99grandamse@gaownersclub.com I'm sure he'll accept your registration. :)

... and thanks for the kind words :) ... people sometimes forget that it is just as easy to teoo someone they're doing a good job as it is to bitch and whine ... it is good to hear and we appreciate it!! :)

im not trying to suck up at all, its just im lovin this site! in the few weeks since i have re-registered (i was a member like, years ago when i first bought my car but was only on briefly, and lost internet for years after i moved out of my old place)
I really do want to go but its up in the air. work for me is very sketchy sometimes so i never know when i will be working or not, so i have to make sure i have the extra cash. i know gus and jim are going, maybe if i end up going i can split room with them (2 people, my wife wanted to go) but i have wanted to go for the last two years and something always came up. perhaps if i can, i could give someone the 20 dollars there? Ill be going on vacation this next coming week so i will see what happens after that, but keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm sure we can make arrangements for you there. Just look for someone wearing a staff t-shirt. :)

... Shawn is right and if you want to come at the last minute, I am sure we can accommodate you ... of course, it is preferred to pre-register so we can account for numbers (for food, etc) but sometimes, "shit happens" ... HAHAHA ... if you come, look for Leanne or myself and we get you fixed up :)

You could make it a day trip. Leave Rochester early, make the "Show and Shine", catch dinner at the Bones and drive back that night. It's about a three hour run from the Victor exit.
$60 for gas, $25 for the Show & Shine ($5 for guests lunch) $15 for tolls = $100. Kim & I will buy you dinner, we owe you a wedding present anyway.
Bill and Gabe did it last year.
