2.4 DOHC ?'s

Does anyone know if a 2.4L DOHC would work in my '93 Grand am 3spd auto?? I hafta replace the 2.3 SOHC and would like to make an improvement. Would all my current accesories bolt up to it or not? Your help is appreciated.

just get a Q4 DOHC, more power.... you could go for a Q4 HO, but it may not be best with the auto.....

I know it would be better to go with the DOHC, but I am looking for something simple. What I need to know is if the accesories and everything bolts into the same places. I know I'd have to get the computer and harness to go with it, but is that all I'd have to change???? I'd like to keep as many of the current parts as I can. My problem is that I don't have much time (oh, and money) to complete it once I get started. That and the fact that I have never done anything like this before and want to make it simple the first time. Thanks everyone.
