I was noticing on a bunch of GAs

I was noticing on the Gas with body side cladding the black strip that goes around the car doesn't always line up perfect at the doors, I thought that it might be a wreck or something, but I see it all the time does anyone know what this is?

Mass production? As long as everything's within tolerances they couldn't care.

GM Cars were not well known for having very tight tolerances.
