Do those bug removal sprays remove the wax? or is there something better to use for getting off all those smashed bugs?

Every bug&tar remover I ever used seem to strip the wax. So I usually just make sure the area is well waxed before driving, and when I have to wash, I just wash it with a mitt over and over and over, never scrubbing too hard.

B&T removers remove EVERYTHING!
I never use them, never found the need to.
Here are some ways to do it that wont remove your wax/sealant or harm your finish.
1. When washing your car the bugs you cant remove just leave there until you have finished washing and drying. Then take out your fine grade clay bar (any consumer clay is fine grade) spray the bugs with your quick detailer and very gently with little to no pressure rub the bug guts until gone. Clay will not remove your wax/sealant as long as your very gentle, you should be claying gently anyways.
2. Spray the bug guts with quick detailer before washing. Let the QD dwell on the guts for a few minutes then procede to wash as normal.
3. Pre-soak with a foam gun, not many people own a foam gun (pretty pricey) so this is most likely out of the question.
4. What Shawn said.
The biggest mistake people make with bugs and tar is they like to *scrub* the paint with alot of pressure and some even use kitchen type scrub pads. Just dont do this and you wont harm your finish, i doubt you would anyway

Never heard of that, but if it removes bugs and tar *easily* then i would have to assume it will remove everything else also.

i tryed a bug and tar remover that waxes to. They dont work worth a crap. I talked to an auto deatlier and he said to wet the area athen use a cloth with goo gone, goo be gone, something like that on a damp cloth and wipe the area and it usually takes it right off.

I basically just use a B&T, then rewax.

detailed image sells a bug sponge. its a rough surface until it gets wet, then it softens up in the water. works well.

Yes but that would remove any wax or sealant, Greg was curious how to remove bugs without removing his protective product.
