Should i Buy the GT?

Ok, im new to this site i was kinda checking the Grand Am's out a little bit the last few days. I recently got my car stolen from me and everything was stolen out of it and destroyed. But now that the insurance has totaled that car i kinda screwed up my credit while i had that car but now i cant get shit so my sister (the original owner) of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT with 66,000 miles on it is trying to sell it to me for $4,900. Do you think that is a good deal? I was looking at the value of the car and it is way over what i am paying for it and o did i mention i am making payments to her so its 0% interest. What do you think? And here are some pics of my old car and what it looked like after it got rapped. :( sad to see it like that.

I was wondering the same... I only see missing wheels, missing headlights, and scratches.

The motor was blew. They stole over $3500 worth of stuff on the inside. Like dvd screen, subs, amps, radar detector, ipod. But the tow truck driver damaged it when he layed the whole car on the ground and dragged it on the pavment.

that sucks man. Buy the GA and enjoy it. They have alot of potential...and it looks like you know how to reach that potential judging from your cobalt. Theres a bit available for the GA's so dont be concerned about that. Make it your own man. Enjoy! I was skeptical about buying a GA too, but I really like the car now that ive had it for a lil bit.

That was one very nice looking cobalt ss, man, sorry to hear about it. I wouldnt buy a grand am, get somthing better, i am kicking my self for getting a ga, I wish I would have saved my money some more and got something else like a gti. oooo well.

Damn ... sorry to hear about your cobalt ... that was one nice ride. Sounds like your sisters car is in decent shape. I would buy that from her and build your credit back up, then once you get your credit straightened out you can buy what you want. GAs are not a bad car... they have alot of potential like your cobalt did.

Damn thats a clean looking SS why not get another one used? You're going to be disappointed going from a SS to a GA, just saying its a lot slower than your last car. The GA is a good price though
