Very confused!

Well I have spent the last hour or so searching and reading. Now I seem to be more confused than ever. I was looking at replacing my front speakers with Infinity 6.5's. Now I guess my question is will I have any problems installing these? So with this metra adapter will it just be a simple screw in the speaker and put the door panel back on or is more complicated than that. Also I have seen some talk about disconnecting my stock tweeters? I don't really know a lot about car audio. Although I did replace my stock HU with a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP. If someone can please help me out because I am very confused! Thanks!

What model Infinity's are they? Is is just the 2 speakers or is it a component system?

I'm almost positive the Infinity References fit in (w/ the adapter) with no problem. I thinkk the Kappas fit as well so you should be alright.

The model is REF6022SI, I chose them because the price isn't bad plus they are shallow mount and I heard sometimes there is an issue with that. It says on the website the depth is 1-15/16" Also it is not a component system just the speakers.
