Since fiberglass is held together with epoxy, why not get some epoxy and glue it back together?

JB weld might work in your situation. Also the two part epoxy I think I was telling you about at Jay's house. I've used it on some of my en devours and its strong as hell. If you want to wait till we get to Albany ill show ya whats up. Fiberglass would be a good strong hold that probably wouldn't break but epoxy would probably be good enough and alot less work.

It wasn't my doing, but another guy I work with did some"body work" on a custom double din dash opening with JB weld. Its definately strong and bonded to the plastic well. I'd imagine it would work on the fiberglass tail.
