I have a question: I bought Champion Iridium spark plugs for my Am, and was wondering if anybody has any experience (If they are junk, etc). For my main question, I was in an accident about 6 months ago, the front end was damaged, but nothing internal was toasted. I got it all fixed up and now my car eats fuel like there is no tommorow. My boss says it is my timing belt (chain?) and should change it. Any insight to this?

Don't use those. Get the stock AC Delco Platinum plugs. The 2.4 LD9 hates most plugs other plugs.

It is a chain, not a belt. The chain will typically outlast the rest of the engine.

yea I'll also vouch that anything BUT AC Delco plugs are going to suck, the 2.4 motor loves the AC Delco Plats

You're in for a world of hurt within the next few months.
