Doc Speed or ChromeINtakes

just looking for a CAI for my 04 6cyl. and was wondering the opinions of others who may have purchased chrome intakes form ebay for like 80 bucks compared to doc speeds for like 150, they appear to be the same 3 piece set up but i was just looking for others feedback, please let me know what you think, thanks everyone

I have a 3-piece Chrome Intakes CAI, works perfectly and highly recommended by a number of people on this board. You can't really go wrong with both but for the price, I went with E-bay/Chrome Intakes:)

Kelly would say if you don't care about brand to go with Kyle (Doctor Speed) because he supports this site. It probably won't matter which you go with performance wise, as there is probably no difference except maybe the type of filter used. I know Kyle uses K & N filters, not sure about the eBay ones, some use their own brand.

HAHAHA, yes Mark ... now you do and it is greatly appreciated!! :)

... and I stand by my attempt at humour in the original post being I had no issues with the 'advertisements', I just found it terribly funny (at the time) ... almost to the point where it looked like 'cardude' was searching out posts simply to insert your name :lol: ... anyway, like I said, nothing wrong with that specifically but as you have probably noticed, I tend to post about various thing when they make me laugh :)

oh no worries... I was in no way trying to say that your attempt at humor was lost on me.. just thought I would point out that I am now a sponsor for those who may come accross this thread and think that there may have been some problems between my Co. and this site...

and yea i noticed you have a tendancy (sp?) to join in threads that you find humorous...
