hood hydraulics

i was wondering where i could find a kit to get my hood/trunk to prop open and not use the hood prop bar/ hand.

i know for the hood Jim (tenspeed) put one on his hood. i dont think he will mind helping you. the trunk however, you would have to measre how far it opens, then measure how long the hydrolic rod is.

IIRC you can use the ones off the Alero for the hood. Seems like u have the truck one solved already.

yes you can but i would use a stronger one if you live in a place where high winds occur frequently like me. i will post all the pics and details on which brand and weight type i used. so you guys/gals have a for both the hood and the trunk. by monday i will have all the pics and info ready for you guys/gals

Maybe ones for 3rd genaeration Camaro/Firebird would be better then. Those are some big ass hoods.

i have mine installed for both the trunk and the hood but just waiting on my damn cam to take pics of em my wife left the cam in fkn Mexico so i guess ill get the pics to you'll at a later time......
