So I bought a new headunit, and the dash kit from best buy, but it won't fit in, the nuts hit when I try to slide it in, what am I doing wrong, pictures? If you've got the metra install kit let me know, I need help asap I want my cd player!

i think you are talking about the nuts on the sides of the HU not making it past the dash of the GA right.
I had the same problem. I just used a little "gentle" brute force to get mine to go

yep that's exactly the problem I had, we drilled some big ass holes, it fit in, and the headunit is in place, it was a big headache though.

my problem was that the screws on the side of the kit were hitting, so it wouldnt go in. So i just used super glue to get the side clips on.
I did a ghetto install, but in the end it looks good.

the scoshe kit fits well.

on my girlfriends i ran into the problem of a couple little knobs sticking out in my way to hold the factory stereo in place and a brace/bracket in the dash. well....it was a problem until i pulled out the hacksaw. i cut of the little knobs and cut out the section of brace that was in the way. didn't hurt it all and came out perfect. all of that customizing and it still only took me about 20 min.

actually i think the problem is that you need to remove some of the tabs. the kit should say which ones you need and which to remove. they ar universal kits and not all the tabs are needed/used.
