I'd say stick with AC Delco Platinums, they seem to get along with the engine best.

Professional or Rapidfire is what you want, 3400 engines are very picky when it comes to electrical stuff.

Plugs must be double platinum. The GM DIS ignition system uses 1 coil per 2 cylinders, so it fires backwards through one of the coil sides. They're usually pretty touchy so the AC Delcos are a good idea. Also, unless you have a highly modified engine you will never notice the difference.

Your engine may not fire right if your use Bosch or other cheap plugs. The GA is odd when it comes to electricity, if you don't have a good battery connection you get ABS and traction lights for no reason (ie they still work fine).

yea,GM cars seem to love the AC Delco Plats best. I ran the Bosch PLats, they sucked.
