Tried a mothers powerball?

A powerball might work, but it looks like the cleaner is peeling the clear coat off your wheels, and a powerball is only gonna make that worse. Not sure how to help you, but if you can take a toothbrush and try getting the stains off the areas that aren't peeling, it should help a little.

Also, try posting this in the right section, which should be either wheels and tires, or the problems and solutions areas.

Doesn't it say on the bottle what kind of wheels it won't work with, or which ones it will?

i followed the insturtions and that is what's left after 20 seconds! my buddy has black with polished lip made by RS_Limited and he uses the same wheel cleaner on his wheels and they come out fine. so i'm very confused.

was this a spray cleaner or what was the exact name brand? try using a cleaner wax on them though the wheels have to be cold. using any of those spray cleaners on a hot rim will do that. it kinda looks like it went through the clear coat. try the cleaner wax though. you may need to do it more than once.

I highly highly doubt that it stripped the CC off the wheels, it isnt anywhere near that strong.

How EXACTLY did you use it?

Looks like you sprayed it on and walked away. You still have to agitate and rinse.

BTW, this should be in the detailing section

I agree with coupe but it looks more like you sprayed it on wheels that were hot.

Most wheel cleaners say that they are not safe for painted wheels.

Yeah ive given up on using cleaners on my rims. They get spoiled by wash, then the painted part gets waxed and the lip gets polished. 2 years+ no problems

i followed the instructions on the bottle and the wheels wasn't even warm to the touch. and yes i rinsed it off after 20 seconds. after it didn't wash off i tried to scrub the wheel but to no avail. so i'm that stupid to just walk away. and the bottle says "may not be safe to use on all wheels" but doesn't specify.

If it says not safe for use on all wheels then its not their fault. It obviously didnt work with your wheels and they stated it might not. Your supposed to try it in an inconspicous place. Like the inside of the rim under your car. They wont give you anything.

I dont use any at all, not even on customer vehicles. The strongest i get is simple green or carwash soap, nothing ever stronger than that. I dont see the need at all.

As far as the streaking a cleaner wax or neverdull will clean it off. The peeling CC there isnt anything you can do and i really dont believe that this will cleaner caused this. Its strong stuff but it isnt anywhere near strong enough to strip CC.
