Does anyone know the location of the fuse for accessory power (orange wire) at the radio? This wire remains at zero volts even when the ignition is turned on. I have gone through all of the fuses and they are all good. I drive a 2001 Grand Am SE Thanks!

There is no accessory power to the radio, it has only constant power (orange lead). The radio turns on via class 2 serial data message

So would an aftermarket radio know to power up serial comthrough the yellow lead through serial communication?

Radio 12v orange
Radio Ground black
Radio Ignition yellow
LF Speaker +/- tan - gray
RF Speaker +/- lt. grn - dk. grn
LR Speaker +/- brown - yellow
RR Speaker +/- dk. blu - lt. blue

the 2001 Grand Am doesn't use serial data. The yellow wire is the the lead that isn't outputting 12 volts when the ignition is on

It doesn't, for aftermarket radios you have to run a separate switched ACC wire for an aftermarket radio to turn on, or use the metra harness with the speaker + accessory output for example (don't have the part number handy, search)

You're wrong. Definitely uses the class 2 bus to turn the radio on.

The yellow lead on pin A6, if that's what you are talking about, is only used in the Alero. The only source of +12v is pin B1, orange wire, and that'll go to the Radio Batt fuse.
