this is my current stereo setup, since im kinda new and never posted stereo stuff here.

it consists of the following:

2- 12" Rockford P2 subs
1- Custom built box with frenched face, stone paint and pontiac arrowhead cut out of italian tile
1- Rockford 450s amp for subs
1- Rockford 551x amp for highs

(PPI component set)
2- 6 1/2" Precision Power mids in custom brackets
2- Precision power tweeters in pillars

Dynamat Xtreme all over trunk (still have to do this new trunk lid since i got the custom plate done lol) Btw stuff still rattles here and there, you cant help it.

Amp rack was custom built by myself, pretty simple, i just wanted a wire-hidden simple display of them.

however, i want to sooner or later re-do my system. i want to keep the PPI components, but get new amps, and lose a sub. I want to have just one 12" sub in a new custom enclosure, something that sounds nice and saves more room.

to tell you the honest truth, i didnt even mind the factory Monsoon setup when i got my 03 brand new lol. shoulda just replaced the doors with components like i have now, but not added subs, just like one small sub. cause i love SQ but bass is annoying to me anymore lol

... all I have is the factory deck with factory speakers ... I do have a second amp (RF PUNCH 75) running a pair of 10" Cerwin Vegas but that is it ... has pretty decent bass for the limited cash I have into it ... anyway, thsi thread is about YOUR stuff, and not mine

thank you. i was gonna consider trying a fiberglass box, but i figured i aint trying to compete in shows, especially bigger ones. i dont exactly have the mods compared to these other crazy cars, so ill keep it simple for now. appearance wise though, of course im not gonna stop lol

I didn't mind my factory Monsoon system until my rear speakers kept blowing on me. Those can't handle much bass. I just added an Alpine HU, 2 12" Kicker Comp VR's, and Alpine MRD-M1005 Mono Amp to power them. I am still using the factory Monsoon speakers and amp. I think my system is good enough.
