Hey guys, still a little new to the site, so I apologize if this isn't the best of places for this topic. The forum isn't setup like I am used to at the Mirage forum or the Ram forum... anyways...

I was flipping through the owners manual the other night and saw a picture of the V6 motor (which my GA SE has) and I had to do a double take. At first I thought it was the wrong picture and I started to chuckle. "Thats not a Grand Am motor, thats the motor form a Monte Carlo... wait!" Sure enough when I popped the hood it was the same 3100 motor as in my moms Monte Carlo. Oh the joys of new car ownership... lol...

I know the chassis is differnt, so suspension and stiff stuff wont bolt on, but what about basic engine products? Will they still bolt up the same?

Let me know.

Thanks!

Except for anything dealing with the ECU or anything computer related. Things like a cold air intake wouldn't bolt up either since the engine bays are different. Stuff like an upgraded cam, or anything that is strictly mechanical with the engine should be interchangeable.
