Dash Lights

Ok i was putting a stereo in my 01GA and as it usualy does the dash lights went out so i looked through all the fuses and i found the one that was blown and replaced it. Now i went and shorten the power wire and they went out again and now i cant find any fuse or relay that has been blown... Plz help i have no idea what to do.:???: :???:

Did you make the wire shorter?

Did you short-circuit the wire?

In either case, I would REMOVE the fuses and check them, especially the one you replaced previously.
Every once in a while, a fuse will blow in a way that you can't see it's blown just by looking in the fuse box.

And, when you replaced the fuse previously, did you use the same size (number of amps), or fuse with more amps?

I shortened the power wire cuz it was sticking out to far from the carpet. Yea i useed the same size fuse the i replaces. The thing is that i pulled ALL the fuses out of all the fuse boxes that would have any connection to the lights and replaced the one that blew the first time.
