I forgot my camera this year but I did take a funny pic with my phone, which is the thing I found in Lauren's trunk (neither one of my GA's had it).

Haha, http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_censored.gif I wish I stayed for that.

I'm gonna hit up the DMV maybe Wednesday morning and go into work late. I hope I can get my license by Atco and gonna push to try and get the Firebird road-worthy by then too. It won't be pretty by then though, I don't think.

That is, if I can end up keeping the car and a roof over my head in the next couple of weeks. :(

It'll take probably close to $10k to do it up the way I want.. but I basically have a game plan for nearly every aspect of it. I may inquire for feedback from a few of you more brilliant and creative minds (especially you Mike, you have a real good grasp on creating custom stuff with your hands, and inspired a few of the possible mods I want to do) -- For example, I want to carpet the whole floorpan, up to the rear deck, the trunk, and the sub box with the same black carpet material stuff. It looks damn good.

Two dilemmas:
1. What to do about the rear seat. The front will probably end up dual racing seats with harnesses.
2. I don't want to butcher or reupholster the original seats because they're in pristine condition (no rips, tears, holes etc.) - I also want a clean look in the back (and possibly more room for whatever, including a roll bar/cage maybe) -- so I want to do fold-down rear seats (like someone kicked the idea around at the Albany meet, I forget who) but need to work out the logistics and details behind what materials to use, how to construct and mount them, etc.

I should probably just go start a thread about it one of these days, but I don't really want my secrets out just yet. There's a lot of really need "top-secret" stuff I want to do to it and surprise you all with it one day.

i love top secret stuff

That's what she said?

Anyway, yeah.. some stuff I'm just NOT going to share my ideas yet. No way I can.. but most of the interior stuff and what not isn't much of a secret.

I also got thinking about things like filling in crevices here and there and smoothing it out (if I can find any of the sort on the car) and maybe shaving door handles.. haven't decided on that yet. Also not terribly sure about the vinyl top yet. Or a sunroof. I was considering grafting on a Grand Am sunroof but I don't know how stupid my car would look with the window completely open and what not. Guess I'd have to photochop some stuff.

Damn I feel so left out.

I ended up almost into Boston and Providence the other night.

Friday night I got home around 11:10pm and my Grandfather had left a message to call him back (like 5 mins before I got home) - so I called him back and he asked if I wanted to go to New Hampshire. I said sure, and asked when.. he said he was already 20 exits up I-95 on his way, but he'd turn back and come get me.

Long story short, I was on the road driving to New Hampshire (Laconia, about 5-6 hour drive) at 11:30pm and after a few little stops to take in scenery and what not in the middle of the night (northern MA on I-91 stopped to star gaze for about an hour).

Pulled up in front of my cousin's house at about 7am on the dot. Slept on their couch for a couple hours, hung around checkin' out the local girls with their asses hanging out of the hood of a Bronco they were working on (this was a mobile home park if you couldn't tell by now - I had to keep it on the low down so I didn't get my ass beat by a group of trailer park girls), then we went out to dinner for a few hours.

9:30pm, dinner is over and I'm back on the road driving home. Probably close to 700 miles almost. I'm still a little tired from all the driving. :(

Pucci really busted his ass to get all the way up here, no doubt.
