It is the g8. Basically the G8 is the GP's replacement.

Yes IIRC that image was printed by Motor Trend or one of those Yuppie car magazines. And we all know how those yahoos have to beat each other to press so they can be 'the first' with a story so they can win over the right advertisment companies in their rag for more cashola... Sometimes I think they will make stuff up just to get it to print and worry about real 'facts' after.

why do they have it only make 362 HP? Its a 6.0 liter v8... isn't that the same that's in the GTO ? so why don't they make it the same HP as the GTO ?

Although it is a 6.0L engine, it doesn't necessarily mean its the LS2. The engine going into the G8 is the L76 (Basically Holden's engine). Although in the same family as the LS2, it is not the same exact engine.

Now with a retune of the engine, it should be possible to make it go 400 Horses. :)

yup the G8 is the replacement for the Grand Prix. Its going back to the old days when it was RWD and had a v8. I love it. Its going to have some power if they do give it to it.
