You all will eventually find out, I am absolutely no good at finding anything on my own :(
I need to get new wheels. I went to Pep Boys tonight and found some that I loved and were 199$ for all 4. Turns out, they won't fit on a GA.
Can you all help me find some rims? My tire size is 215/60/15. I have 4cyl, SE1 GA. If at all possible, I would LOVE to be right at or even under 200$, but I don't want something that will bend easily.
Thanks if you can help me!!

its kinda hard to pick a wheel that wont bend easy. i mean some potholes and curbs are worse than others, its all about watching out. speaking of bending easy, you can try to find good quality wheels. what size and finish are you looking to get for your GA?? by the way, we have a 5x115 bolt pattern, and with hubcentric rings (ask about them at wheel shop) you can fit a 5x114.3. ive done it. i currently have 18" wheels with a 225/40 tire.

Wait a while on those wheels. You might be making a $200 mistake. Take your time, search through the members rides sections, find wheels that look good, etc.
Every fall, students sell their wheels and tires to pay their tuition. You might find something here, locally or on ebay.

I am hoping to get rims to go with my tires. My tires still have like 70% left of tread on them.
I wouldn't be in such a hurry for new wheels, but I have a bent one, and I have a crappy ride cause of it. The whole car whobbles and I pretty much can't go over 60MPH. Not to mention the wear it's taking on the tire. :(
The cheapest and easiest way to go about it would be to check a salvage yard for a new set of wheels or to just replace the damaged one.

Do you have steel wheels or alloy wheels?
The steel wheels have the plastic hub cap. You can get a replacement anywhere. GA's, Aleros and I think the Malibu use the same wheels. I use my steelies for winter tires.

I have stock wheels that are steel. I also need to get 2 new hubs if I decide to stick with the steel wheels since the plastic pieces keep breaking off the cover.

Well... for the most part, you're looking for something to hold you over. Go to a yard, and see if you can get a good steel wheel off of a junker Grand Am, or Alero. Don't worry about the plastic, it isn't really necessary. It'll look like crap, sure, but it'll still hold you over until you can actually get a better set of wheels.

Like I said I found some that I liked that were available in my tire size, but the manufacturer said it would not fit on a GA. Why is that? Would it be offset, or bolt pattern? Either way, can someone tell me what information I need to know to get new rims that will fit with my existing tires on my 01 GA.
*edit* okay so I looked at a few websites, and I'll be damned....I can't find any rims that will fit my tires!!!! So I know what it is I need now. I need 5x115mm bolt pattern on a 215/60/15 tire. Can someone help me find some simple rims, I don't need the flashy bling bling, I have a budget of 300$ how's that? I will deal with the balance/mount/align later.

You can get the stock rims. The ugly ugly rims that I HATED!!! The local JY here has like 3 sets of them. Ebay usually has used sets for like 100.

I am looking at these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-Inch-Wheels-Rims-Olds-Delta-Buick-Pontiac-Grand-Am_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43955QQihZ016QQitemZ 260142566293QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
but it says they are 15x7....so how are they saying it fits on stock when my tires are 215/60/15?

Yea you will need a 15X6 that is a true 5X115 hub. You notice how that says hubcentric 5X115 which means you will need to get a special spacer because the wheels are really 5X114.3

so them rims I linked would work?
I seen the ones you linked, but they have an oldsmobile symbol on it :(

Yea they are Alero rims.
The rims might/might not work. I wouldnt want to stretch the tires that much.

Just talk them down then. Tell him that GM sells the wheels brand spanking new for about $90 a wheel. Considering that the ones he is selling are used and have been sitting a while offer him 40 a wheel. 100 is like they are made of gold or something
