Well, I'm not even 16 yet (Will be next month) but my Grandpa took me shopping for a car 3 days ago, ended up buying a 2000 Grand AM SE with the 3400 V6.

nice score. my first mod on that thing would be to yank that jensen sub out and toss it in the trash, where it belongs. that car deserves a real subwoofer, but wait til you can afford it.

look around in here for ideas of stuff you can do to your car to make it unique. this site has the most bad ass grand ams in the world, and in my opinion, some of the best looking cars ive ever seen.

The sub in it works for now, planned on upgrading to 2 12"s, was thinking Kenwoods, when I get the money.

First things first though, I need a CD player in it...That tape player just doesn't cut it for me. The current radio came with the car

o the potential..... hmm lets see, here a list of things that "I" would do if it were MY car:

paint the side mirrors to match the car
replace radio
remove all badges
install GT tails
and keep it VERY clean

thats just for starts. and its also what i recomend u do. good luck and welcome to the club.
