Lowering Springs

I have been reading threads on this site, and i noticed that everyone talks about the amount of miles lower springs have before they are sold by the previous owner. Why the worry on the amount miles? Does something bad happen to the springs after XXXXX miles???

Nope. Almost 100,000 miles on my Intrax springs.

mine had about 5000 on them before i got them, prob about 10,000 on them now. i guess for most its like asking how many miles are on an engine... most people dont want a set of springs (which can settle which is the big reason people ask) that are 10 years old or 200,000 miles on em.
