So I was thinking about going with a Borla system for a while now but I haven't been able to find any sound clips of it, do you guys think it sounds good? Also where should I purchase it from? I was going to buy one from Doctorspeed.com but I'm not too impressed with his shipping.... about a month now and no CAI so maybe PFYC.com? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

I got mine from autopartswarehouse.com and I think I paid something like $630 for it including shipping but that was a year and a half ago. Shipping time was really fast and it arrived in great shape. I'm not sure if their price has changed since then but its pretty easy to check it out. While youre at it, you might want to email them to make sure they have the part in stock before purchasing to prevent any shipping delays, just as you should with any seller. . . It does sound great tho. You can definitely hear it growl when you start your car and it sounds amazing at WOT (at least with the 3400 engine) but its not so annoyingly loud that you cant hear yourself think when youre out driving around. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. Ive never heard the SLP catback on a grand am, but solely based on appearance, I think the Borla looks 10x better and it fits perfectly.

It's dual.

Yes, it is dual. Thanks GatorGA. The other nice thing I like about the Borla (and I forgot to mention in my prior ramblings) is the way the dual exhaust is set up. One pipe runs back to a single muffler, which sits in the center of the car, and then there are two separate L-shaped pipes which run from either side of the muffler back to the stainless steel tips. (As opposed to the crappy factory 'dual exhaust' which consists of a single muffler and pipe and then a sideways pipe coming from the muffler, running across the rear of the car, and hooking outward. The Borla system also hooks right onto the exhaust hangers already under your car. Installation is pretty easy.

P.S. I swear I dont work for Borla, although I probably sound like a damn spokesperson by now haha.

Awesome thanks bud!! My brother also sounds like a Borla rep, he has it on his 94 TA and recommends it to everyone... He brainwashed me into being a big fan of borla now too
