I while back I changed my plugs and when I went to start it, the lights came on, the fuel pump ran, but no rump of the motor.
I took the ground off thinking maybe the computer needs reset, it fired up fine after that, and untill today has worked fine.
After dinner we jump in the car ( wife and I ) lights, fuel pump but no rump. wiggled battery wires but they seemed tight. So I pull the ground and replaced it. still no rump. Pull ground and Pos.
put both back on no rump, every else thing works fine.
Call a friend to come get us. Jumped in the Old Ford van ran to store and bought new battery. Go back to car with the battery, set the new one down and try the car for grines. Started right up.
I did nothing except ran and got a new battery, came back and it fired up. So I drove it home. Jumped (well carefully ) got on my Mountain Bike rode back up to the van, through the bike in back and cruised home.
It's got to be the solenoid or the battery. I'll change the battery tomorrow. Decided to drive the van to work.
