Well I wanna do something with my exhaust. Not a borla catback or anything else. I want it to be loud, I like loud and I live in FL so now emmisions or inspection. I was thinking of cutting out the cat and just put in a straight pipe and lose the resinator, but i'm pretty sure i'll lose torque. yeah top end might be better but i'd rather have the torque. So whats a good idea to make it as loud as a straight pipe with aftermarket muffler but also keep or increase the torque?

THis is what I had. no cat. 3" high flow rez and no muffler. Sounded sweet. Just too loud at high idle and on the highway, but in town you'd think it had a 350 under the hood from the sound. Still had lots of power at all rpm ranges.

Then I added a second 3" rez. It didnt help for on the highway at all. I then added a flowmaster 40 to that. Sounds sweet and tons of power for a 3.4

I just got my exhaust done. Only from rear axle back for now, but I did 2 1\4" pipe with a Y and dual tips no muffler. Sounds good. There's pics and a video here (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78092)

Or use a SRT-4 exhaust like I did, lol. Loud but still grumbles for being straight piped. Need an inline muffler/resonator to help quiet the raspy sound.

Yea Im on the fence of changing out my Magnaflow for the Flow 80. I just want something with more growl at the lower RPM levels.

Yea I'm sure you'll like the sound of the 80 series.

I have loud, hi flow cat, 2 1/4 inch pipe, custom down pipe, all custom bent, and a glasspack feeding into a turn down right before the bumper. At idle has a barely noticable sound, but get to about 1/3 throttle she'll rumble anything past that or 3,000 rpm and i wouldn't drive beside it!!! It is getting time to get it quietened down. Tired of waking the neighborhood at 6:30 in the morning.

I just had mine done, I took out the resonator and I have a flow 80 with two 3" tips. It sounds nice up to about 2000rpm but after that I don't really hear it anymore:(.
