aftermarket came in a box that said made in japan....they bolted right on with no problems and fit damn near perfect

I didn't really care for your mickey mouse mirrors these look much better.. I really think you should get them painted and clear coated tho to REALLY set them off.

Why paint them? They are already black. Could clear coat be sprayed onto the bare plastic?

Yea, they are black but they dont hold shine like true paint job. Id get them painted also so that they will get some shine.

I still have the mouse ears on my car. I have a set of duel post powered mirrors in the box. I have to run the wires to control them and the turn signals.

Anyways, I used Meguiar's Polish then a coat of Meguiar's wax and the mouse ears came out as good as the peanut butter mirrors.

I would think a coat or three of clear would give the same depth since it's over a black base color.

Ehhh I dunno. I think that painting them would take the PITA out of making the shine. Shoot even without a paint job they will stay shiny for about a year or so. lol

IIRC the mouse ears are molded from different plastic so they stay shiny better.

yeah u can still wax the mirrors, gets the hazing out, but after a while it starts to permanantly haze. when i get mine im paintin them for sure

i waxed them as soon as i put them on they look painted....i keep my car pristine so fading wont be a problem........and when the car gets 2 toned next spring the mirrors will be painted any way

As for your rims, what is the brand? I've been seeing some good multispoke rims on GA's lately, kinda making me change my mind about 5 spokes, but still gonna be hard.
