I want to redo my suspension, but I don't know where to start on choosing parts. I want to lower my car, but nothing drastic 1 to 1 1/2" drop. I also want to put new struts and everything. I don't have a large budget. I just want solid components. Maybe give me a list of the parts you may have used? Any help would be great.

I did this just off summit's site. You can find these parts in many places, and maybe cheaper. On top of all this you are going to have to pay to have all this installed, or do it yourself. Doing it yourself w/ hand tools is probably going to take you 6+ hours and you will need to go to a parts store and rent a spring compressor to get the springs on

All parts used in my recent suspension overhaul:
Intrax Sport lowering springs (2" drop, get Eibach if only looking for 1")
KYB GR2 struts (front)
KYB Gas-A-Just shocks (rear)
KYB front strut mounts
KYB rear shock mounts
KYB replacement strut boots (front)
If you have the original suspension, I'd get 4 new strut-to-knuckle bolts too. (I ruined 3/4 removing mine) I used 2 factory ones (from dealer) and 2 camber adjustment bolts (from NAPA)
Gus mentioned KYB GR2 rear shocks. I would choose KYB's Gas-A-Just over the GR2's, as they have higher gas pressure and are about the same price.
Tirerack.com carries most of the KYB stuff and ship quickly.
Keep in mind it is going to cost at least $500 in parts. If you don't have the cash, don't do it.

I hear ya Matt. I don't like to do things halfway. If I don't have enough money to do everything I'll buy stuff a little at a time and install it all at once.
