I just recently had gone to an exhaust shop to get a quote for my GA. I bought all my own parts, pacesetter header, muffler, hi-flow cat, tips... all they have to do is mandrel bend some 2.5" ss pipe... they quoted me 350 for stainless steel piping, bent to my need, the header install, and the system install for $350. Does this sound right to you guys? Just looking to see if I can get them to go down a bit. Please reply ASAP as I'm going in tomorrow morning to get it installed and I would like a bit of info to back myself up on for prices... (i.e. you paid $275 for all your stuff and the same basic setup)

BTW, I have a transverse dual output muffler, so it's the standard GA catback (I suppose)

Thanks in advance,

Nate

I think thats a pretty good price considering they are going to install your header as well.

So 700 for everything? Sounds decent to me considering what you're getting. Stainless Steel pipe, mandrel bends, header install. My exhaust cost 95 for an axle back with 2 1/4" pipe (no SS) and crush bends. Go for it.

Sounds pretty reasonable, especially for the header install and stainless pipe.

Price looks right to me, even if they mean pressure bending.

Its dirt cheap IMO

I highly doubt they are mandrel bending, i have yet to see a shop have that capability, well, not a autoshop.

x2. Some shops will stock a variety of mandrel U-bends to piece together a system. Even that is rare.
